This week we started off with the topic research
methods, then different points of view in a research. We learnt about Root cause
analysis, problem statement and about theoretical significance and practical
significance; the types of information that are needed such as primary data and
secondary data.
The essence
of research key points and clearly defined problems, the type of research methodology
pure and applied; we also learnt about deductive and exploratory. Business research;
identifying the problem, after the problem I defined gather the information, analyze
the data, determine the factors that are associated with the problem and solve
it by taking the necessary corrective measures.
According to (Anon., 2012) ,”The word
"research" is used to describe a number of similar and often
overlapping activities involving a search for information”. In my point of view
a research is a method of discovering the answers to a set of possible
problems.
